KUALA TERENGGANU: The prime minister's wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, urged members of the Barisan Nasional Assemblymen's Wives Association to stay fit so that they could accompany their husbands to programmes that benefit the people.

"Politics is different from other professions as politicians are constantly being evaluated by the rakyat in all aspects, including their spouses' involvement in their activities," she said during the launch of the association's annual sports meet at the state stadium here yesterday.
"We need to exercise for half an hour at least three times a week to reach the optimal health condition," she said, adding that sports can contribute to better health.

Rosmah, who is also the chairman of the Ministers and Deputy Ministers Wives Association (Bakti) said the programme would hopefully encourage Malaysians to keep fit in line with the "Rakyat sihat, Negara Sejahtera" (Healthy Citizens foster National Prosperity) slogan.
More than 450 participants from 14 states took part in the four-day meet, which features badminton and bowling as the main events.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said launched the event.

Isn’t it ironic that this woman, whose face is Botoxed to the hilt, with her wig which makes her look twice as big, proclaims that we women should slim down and keep fit so that our spouses will be spared the embarrassment of having to pose beside a lethargic, exhausted wife at functions and social events. What is her point exactly? There she is, standing beside her hubby, putting pregnant cows to shame. How ironic can one cow be?
You exercise to keep fit, not to spare your hubby the maluness over having an obese wife whose ass is insulated by adipose tissue.
